About PMDP

Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project (PMDP) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the sensitive wildlife and critical habitats of the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument (Northwestern Hawaiian Islands) from the threats of marine debris through annual large-scale cleanups. PMDP's mission is to build a grassroots community committed to the stewardship of the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.

Double Your Impact

Support PMDP's large-scale cleanups this Giving Tuesday by making a donation during their match challenge. All proceeds go directly to supporting PMDP’s three proposed large-scale cleanup missions in April, August and September of 2025 to the remote and uninhabited Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
