Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup agave nectar (or honey)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 to 6 basil stems
- 3 tablespoons sliced ginger
Preparation

Bring to a boil then remove from the heat and allow to cool before straining. Will keep covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks.
